Watts Architecture & Engineering, located in downtownBuffalo, appointed Robert A. Sanders manager of the architecturedepartment and senior project manager. Sanders, a registeredarchitect in New York and New Jersey, has more than 25 years ofexperience. He is a graduate of Oswego State College and obtainedhis master's degree from the University at Buffalo. Also, the firmnamed Lizzie C. Sneed a receptionist. Sneed has more than 20 yearsof administrative experience. She received an associate's degreefrom Dallas (Texas) Community College.

Neighborhood Legal Services, a Buffalo-based not-for-profit legalservices provider that provides civil representation to low-income individuals and people with disabilities in Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee and Wyoming counties, elected Timothy W. Hoover vice president of its board of directors. Hoover is a partner at Phillips Lytle.

Ecology & Environment, a Lancaster-based environmentalcompany, was recognized by the Federal Planning Division of theAmerican Planning Association with the environmental PlanningExcellence Award for its work on the Eldorado-Ivanpah TransmissionProject. The project will help California meet aggressive renewableportfolio standards and connect the recently approved Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System, among other renewable projects, to California's energy grid. E&E will receive the award at the 17thannual National Training Conference for Federal Planners.

The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce partnered with SellingHive Corporation, an Internet company based in the SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator. SellingHive is a social networking technology that facilitates working relationships between buyers and sellers. By joining the company's Affiliate Program, the Chamber will help its members generate new revenue using the company's service when the site launches next quarter, while giving the company the benefit of working closely with Chautauqua County businesses.
